Hmmmm, that equation with the footprints doesn't work out for me...it leaves me minus 5 inches on my height and I value every inch! A floating wall is a wall that is constructed in such a way that it is able to shift slightly to accommodate a floor and/or ceiling expanding or contracting. It's not a load bearing wall and is used aesthetically to close off another area of the room.
Great captions Val! He really was very tired at this time. His days were spent shooting LOCI, evenings doing 'Welles", nights taking turns with his Vixens.
Easily my LEAST favourite LOCI episode. I will never understand how anyone could let 'Mr Eyebrows Perp' climb their elevator shaft....

I never understood the concept behind a floating wall, if you want to divide a room a bookcase would be a much better idea
