Anyone remember this clunker?

Do not adjust your eyes - it is George Clooney, in a pre-ER TV role as Det. Ryan Walker in a show called Bodies of Evidence, back in the early 1990s.

His greasy, slicked-back hair was a real turn-off. I watched several episodes trying to figure out how he was supposed to be attractive to the women in the show.

Then came ER, and the rest is history.

I think we can safely say that, though he has appeared in a few less-than-good films, on TV Vincent has never made an unfortunate choice of role.

THE FIRST TURN ON!
But he was so young and inexperienced, I'll have to forgive him.

George Clooney has never managed to get my boat afloat, I'm afraid. In fact when I first looked at that photograph, I assumed it was a young Chris Noth. Who also does not float my boat (no offence to either actor, BTW)

Vincent, on the other hand, floats my supertanker aircraft carrier with ease :-D

Nope, this ones a blank on me. It took me quite a while to 'take' to George, even in 'ER'. He used to irritate me by bobbing his head about when he walked. Then Vincent arrived, and all was RIGHT with the world
*sighs*

Noth doesn't do anything for me either, but I repeat to myself 'No Noth, No Vincent' to remind me why I know who he is (I never did watch 'Sex and the City)

I don't remember this show but I remember Clooney in the "Roseanne" show, in the late 80's when her show first started. He played her supervisor at the plastics factory.

Can't say I remember this one. Like Lozzie, George never really did much for me, but I thought he was brilliant in Syriana (not quite sure about the spelling there) And Michael Clayton.

he also played sela ward's detective boyfriend in "sisters", pre-ER...thought he was cute but he doesn't hold a candle to vdo!!

George has an amazing voice and eyes - his eyes say "I want to make love to you" and his voice says "I already have" - as a singer who had a LONG affair with another singer, a deep bass, I can verify that the vocal cords relax after orgasm and produce a very deep, growly sound that is like a tiger...

However, Vincent has absolutely EVERYTHING a woman with healthy appetites could need, and much as I like Clooney, he is not in the same league.

val, I do agree with your comment... George never did it for me except that recently he seems to have turned into a Cary Grant kinda lookalike and I used to adore CG. But, for some reason Vincent is the only actor in my dreams and in my fantasies... mmmmmmm

Have you ever seen George Clooney's middle school photo? He has this horrible bowl haircut and enormous glasses.

I think slicked back hair was "all the rage" then.

Ahhh, yes, Jojo. I do remember George on the beloved Roseanne. I think his character also dated Roseanne's sister, Jackie, ever so briefly. He's a very fine actor ... very good range. But yeah, with VDO in the room, who would even notice poor George?

Snarkangel - he did date Jackie in the show....didn't he beat her up causing Dan to slug him? I remember his name was "Booker".
