Huh?

I just got a reconciliation bill on my utilities that said I owed nearly £300, and would have to pay £39 a month more next year (nearly double). Just when prices are falling? I don't think so.

So I went to USwitch.com and put in my data. They suggested saving over £300 a year by switching from npower to

yes, you've guessed it

npower.

Works for me. Not.

My parents (dad is 87, mum is 78) recently swtiched suppliers. Their 'final bill' from their 'old' supplier was for £400+ , an impossibly HUGE amount, given that they'd already had their monthly payment almost doubled, and a number which almost gave my mother a heart attack. Turned out the company had read the figures out of order, and put the decimal point in the wrong place. My parents actually owed precisely £4 something!!!
