How do you ever choose?

So here I am with over a hundred pictures from Cherry Red. I can't post them all at once. It's so difficult to decide which ones to use first. How do the rest of you ever make a choice?

This time I chose shoulders and Bobby opening his legs for our delectation. As usual Blogger posted them in random order...

Cherry Red

My fellow Vincent D'Onofrio loving friend should be here on Friday when Hallmark is showing Cherry Red. That was enough to persuade me to capture some images to share.

Stuff Orange!

I missed you all yesterday so badly. I was connected to the internet in a very basic way that let me Instant Message with JoJo, but refused to let me on to my blog or anybody else's, and I couldn't reach my email accounts either. I managed to get Google and some links on from there, but the next linked was blocked - except on Orange, my ISP. I phoned their helpline at a pretty hefty rate, was left in a queue for ages, then told it was their fault because of maintenance. If I wanted a refund I could call another number. That is, spend more in phone calls than they are ever going to refund.

Maybe if they'd given us some notice we could all have saved our pockets and our sanity.

Caption Competition

What's Bobby saying to Eames?

WHat's Bobby thinking here?

What is Bobby thinking about or saying to Ross?

I'm hopeless at this kind of thing, so I hope you can come up with some worthy candidates. Prize of your favourite picture being posted - Never To Be Repeated Offer!

Latest Tagger Challenge

Here's my challenge to you all. I'd like you to tell us all on your blogs (or in the comments here if you don't have a blog) what your best namedrop is. It can be direct or, like mine, by association.

One of my ex-students married her (much older) university lecturer, who was at Oxford with Bill Clinton.

Over to you.

The Black T-Shirt of Hotness

I managed to squeeze into it and take this picture in the mirror. Can you tell it's first thing in the morning?

It came with this certificate of authenticity.

The garment label has some writing - on the front some scribble and 2/3,

on the back Goren. There's also a tag with either CI4 or C14.

The material is quite dense and not very soft, and luckily it doesn't attract every white cat hair (of which there are many hundreds flaoting around at any given time in my house!)

A Typical Tale Of London Travel

I was really looking forward to visiting my cousin Perce and his wife Val for Sunday lunch, with his sister Barbara and her husband Frank. I wanted to share the family reunion pictures with them. Perce and Val live near St Albans, a small town to the north-west of London. The plan was, I would take the Docklands Light Railway to Bank Station, where I would pick up the Northern Line of the tube to Colindale, and Perce would pick me up there.
First problem came when no trains for the correct branch in the line were on the board. Then an announcement specially designed to coincide with the arrival of a train so that it was inaudible said there were engineering works, and a replacement bus service would take me to my destination - once I got on the correct branch. I took the next train and changed to the right branch further on. We were suddenly told to leave the train a stop early to catch the bus. It arrived at 11am, and the doors remained closed while an employee had us observe 2 minutes' silence for Remembrance Day.
As we approached the stop I needed, we seemed to veer the wrong way at a junction. The driver told us this was as close as he could get us because the road was closed, and he put us off the bus with no idea how to get to where we needed to be, just that it was one-and-a-half miles away.
The road was cordoned off and police were on duty, but they were not able to direct us, as they were not local. All they had to do was keep everyone out, as there had been a murder. Eventually I got quite close to the station, but two people said I had to turn in two different directions. I phoned Perce, and quoted some unfamiliar street names to him, but when I mentioned the pub opposite, he knew where I was and joined the queue of cars to reach me and whisk me to his lovely home. I was only an hour late on an hour's journey!
We had a lovely day after all that trauma.
This is a picture of Perce and Val's son Russell's wedding, with Val in pink and Perce, of course, on the right.

The kind of gift I love to receive

A lovely lady called Lilly sent me this collage she made of the amazing man, and she kindly said I could use it on my blog. Once again it's a case of Mr D'Evine inspiring womankind to great feats of talent.

It's arrived!

And to prove it, it's here!

It's not as big as I would have expected, and the sleeves don't look this baggy so...

I think it must be this one rather than the one above.

Of course, it's been laundered, unfortunately, but the edges of the sleeves seem a bit faded as if it rubbed on his lovely skin quite a bit.

THE BLACK T-SHIRT OF HOTNESS IS MINE (or one of them, anyway).

Eliza's Gift

Thanks to our tireless friend's expert guidance, I am finally able to bring to you my own caps again. So as a treat for those who like the chemistry, here's the evil troll tormenting our boy. And for those who hate the evil troll, here she is tormenting our boy. Sorry!

Playing Around

When I looked through the pictures I'd captured I found I had a couple of sequences that could be animated if I knew how. This was the best I could manage.

Apologies for the interruption in service

Last night I logged on early to try and sort out the programme for my new mobile phone. I wanted to find a way to load up my iTunes so I could have Twist And Shout or Sergeant Pepper as my ringtone. Failure number one.

Then I tried to follow Eliza's suggestions to retrieve my caps from uselessness, but seem to be one programme short of achieveing that (no Publisher, Eliza, in some half-witted way I thought you meant I'd find what I needed on Photobucket itself - Doh!) Failure number two.

I uploaded some pictures the old-fashioned one-at-a-time way (about three years for my whole stash to be done this way) but lost the first effort. Only managed 20. Failure number 3.

Finally I decided to give up and just look at everyone's blogs, and post here. My computer froze. I had to use the button to switch off. Failure number three.

By this time it was nearly 8pm, time for BOBBY!!!!! TV worked, watched the man, (Malignant - love him in that one) - SUCCESS!

Love his expression.

Love his back (couldn't lose the crdedits).

Love him.

Success number two - I got Masquerade from ELiza today. Of course I had to watch it before logging on (wouldn't you?) and was not sure what I made of it. But my goodness, isn't Liza Minnelli WEIRD!
