What are they all up to?

Hallmark is continuing to show episodes from Season 3 on week nights.

Tonight it's the Goren Grey Suit and Groin Show, aka FPS.



On Saturday they continue with their weekend showing of Season 5 with - hang on, Slither? But they showed that last week.













However, on Sunday, Season 5 disappears from Hallmark, to be replaced by Damages. It continues with Season 3 on week nights.

But Channel 5, who stopped showing Season 3 part way through to show SVU, is now going to show Season 4 on Saturdays.

























Meanwhile, apprently USA is not showing another ne G/E episode till 20th July!!!!!

A former colleague who could be a bit slow off the mark was once told that the male chicken was tastier than the female, so she went to her local butcher's shop and asked the butcher, "Have you got a nice big cock"!

Vincent Fest

Last night my friend was keen to see Betrayal, but she also wanted to have another look at Purgatory. And a great evening was had by all.





I'm back to trying out contact lenses, and had a very successful day on Thursday, but on Friday I had to take the left lens out after a little while, and despite that being the distance lens I couldn't see to read. So Friday was a speccy day. I had another try today, but the problem remained. I'd gone out shopping, and had to nip into an optician's (not my own). They let me remove the lenses in their contact lens room, and spotted that the left lens was torn.

My willingness to carry on is seeping away. My left eye is irritated, and I'm not sure there isn't still a sliver of lens in there. My eyes are incredibly tired, and even in specs I can hardly focus on the computer screen. Add to all that the fact that it's been stiflingly hot today, and I suppose it's no surprise my head feels rather odd.

Hope I can see to watch Bobby in an hour.

Sunny Sunday

We had glorious weather for the garden party - sunny and hot, but with the edge taken off by quite strong winds.

As you can see, a great time was had by all, especially the dogs, who begged relentlessly (and successfully) throughout the day. They are all rescue dogs. Boy, did they fall on all four feet.

Mair, the hostess, once rescued a ladybird when we were rehearsing in a church to take home and put in her greenhouse rather than have it die (it was winter). She has an extremely soft heart.

I've been thinking

Always a dangerous thing to do.

You can only load about 10 minutes of film on to YouTube, right? And there is always the logo on the bottom righthand corner.

So how come Welles, over 30 minutes long, is loaded in its entirety, and without a logo?

Is there a special account, one that you have to pay for? Is the posting of the film more official than we dared hope? Even if it's not Vincent, is it not likely to have been done with his agreement?

I want to know. I NEED to know.

If only...

The Post That Disappeared..

...came back.

It was doubly fated. The movie didn't upload properly because the pictures came from my plug-in hard drive and I turned it off before the process was completed. So I ended up with a set of titles with black screens in between, set to music.

I hurriedly replaced this with the two slideshows I posted yesterday, but they failed to post the day before.

Now here is the movie again, done properly this time I hope. Sorry to post Zoonotic twice so close together. I know you'll be very disappointed.

Something a bit different

I keep forgetting that my caps of A Person of Interest didn't properly load on to Photobucket, and are on my spare hard drive, which I cannot be bothered to plug in. So I downloaded on of the 9 successful PB uploads, saved it to this computer and got rid of - HER. SWMNBN.

Isn't he gorgeous? But we all knew that already.

I did a post on Zoonotic last night, but it appears not to have "taken". Oh well, let's try again.

After much help from Eliza and Jazzy, I managed to get Five Minutes Mr Welles on to a dvd, and thence obtain some stills. It needed a lot more than "Just One Look".
