Welcome to the world of the Vincent D'Onofrio obsessed - and a bit of real life thrown in.

Fly Spray, Anyone?

Imagine my shock this morning when I found that our least favourite insect had an interview in my daily paper, The Guardian.

Apparently he is appearing on stage at The Old Vic Theatre in London (artistic director Kevin Spacey).

How dare he be in the same city as me? How dare he be on stage somewhere that I could go and see him (you'd have to give me a lobotomy first, though I'd rather have Lobotomy...) and VINCENT IS NOT!

Life is so unfair.

So go picket the theatre with a sign saying Vincent IS LOCI! lol I really hope the show gets canceled. The promos are abysmal. The story lines are beyond ridiculous. They tried to cash in on the whole vampire craze by having a vampire themed episode. The promo for that one was so laughable. The Fly is trying to be sexy and it's just not working. Ugh. Vincent is sexy without even trying!!

It's so not fair!!! I'd be down there as fast as the bus could carry me if it was Vincent on stage but not for the Fly. Imagine our meet-up if we knew Vincent was in the city...if I spot JG I'm just going to have to stop myself from being incredibly rude to him

On a related note, one of the last times I was in London, I went to the Old Vic and actually saw Kevin Spacey perform in a play he directed. Steven Weber was also in it; it was a big thrill to see both of them live! What is this play that JG will be in? (I want to imagine Vincent in his role!)

At least you have the opportunity to swat the fly!

So that's what the 'buzzing' noise is.....

All I can add to this is, Hope Springs Eternal. Hopefully, Vincent will show up on your side of the pond in the very near future.

RUby, it's called The Prisoner of Second Avenue, by Neil Simon. And it got a 3* review in the main section of the paper today.

If it had been VIncent, I bet it would have got 5*

Although my teachers/professors told/tell me repeatedly that there are no "dumb" questions - ha - I'm going to ask one anyway. Who/whom/what is the fly? Cheers Val!!

Oh, BBG1, you have NO idea how lucky you are not to know. The Goldblum abomination shot to fame when he starred in the movie The Fly. Unlike Vincent's Bug, JG did not need to rely on makeup, nor indeed acting ability, 'cos you will have noticed how naturally buglike his eyes are, and he has yet to display any acting ability IMHO!
