It's Official - Winter's Here!


This was the scene from my upstairs rear window at about 11am. The snow had already begun to melt. It's gone now, but at least we've had a little taster of how winter is supposed to be.

In the Netherlands we have not much of a winter either. We have no snow yet, but it's freezing. It's a start. :o)

Wow, finally! Do you get snow often? I always had this image in my mind of a snowy Christmas in London each year. I guess I read too much Dickens. hahaha

yes but Val did you see it at 6.00 a.m. eeeeeeeeeek.... thank goodness it's gone and I pray it was the first and last we see of it this winter.
