Vincent's Bum

There's a dispute over on Elizasplace as to whether the picture of Carl is Vincent or his body double. Here are some pictures for comparison so we can make up our own minds. My view? Can't decide!

Anyway, for the record, in an interview he is quoted that there was a body double for those scenes where he was hooked up... it was a painful experience, although his skin was not pulled as tightly as people who really do this sort of thing.

ann said...: lisa: we obviously read the same interview... although I believe he was suspended over her, because he then describes the masturbation scene. Anyway he is just so darn cute. As far as I can remember,in The Cell the body double was used mostly for setting up the shots where he was supposed to be suspended,doing some of them where you can't see his face.He did have prosthetic(?) skin for the suspension shots,but as he's stood in the first pic,I like to believe it was his bottom!

Seriously though, it is his. The body double was only for the suspension scenes, as Eliza said.
