How Many Times?

I don't think you have to be in the UK to vote for your favourite L&O detective on the Hallmark Channel. There doesn't seem to be a limit to the number of times one person can vote, either. I vote at least 5 times every evening. Guess who for?

So if you want to stack the stats, just go to http://www.hallmarkchannel.co.uk/ and click away. Again and again. And again...

...But not for Det. Nichols, eh?

What's he even doing on there? They haven't even included Det. Green from the Mothership, or Ray Curteis. But Nichols turns up and suddenly he's in? Get real, people.

So for dem idiots to include Jeff (who?) in the lineup is outlandish and laughable. The networks didn't just fall, they parachuted into the depths of HELL. Shame on em!!!!!!!! And if I said it once, I'll say it a thousand times -- they will REGRET it.; 8:02 pm

bobbybegood1 said...: Val I am watching this show on PBS (channel 13) in NY about Monarch Butterflys. They make this astounding epic journey from Canada to Mexico -- traveling 2,000miles. Because the butterflies weight less than 1/5 of an ounce, no one knows how they are able to do perform this amazing feat. It's described this way: The 1st generation started in Mexico and flew to lower America, then died --living only three months. The 2nd generation flew from lower America to mid America then died. Living only approx three months. The 3rd generation flew from mid America and reached Canada, then died living only three months, too. The 4th generation flew from Canada all the way back to Mexico -- 2,000 miles. These lived for nine months.

They faced many perils along the way. Besides being a frog's dinner, if the weather was too cold, they became sluggish and had to stop. If too hot, they had to stop flying. On good days they flew 50 miles a day. Sometimes they died from mere exhaustion. It's just a wonderful thing to see. I know how much you love animals -- so I thought it appropo to tell you this. Watching something like this keeps life in perspective. It gives me greater appreciation for small creatures like ants, bees, without which we humans could not exist.; 1:41 am
