The Cutty Sark again




There's going to be a big restoration on the ship before it rots away. By the time everyone agrees what's best it will probably have dissolved.

I love old ships.Haven't been to this one yet,although we have visited Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on more than one occasion :)

Gorgeous! Here's kind of a dumb question, is this the ship that the alcohol was named after?

Not, dumb, JoJo, I hadn't thought of it. But as scotch is Scottish, I think it's more likely that, like the namers of the ship, they got the name from the Burns poem. Does the whisky have a picture of the ship on it?
