Best Defence

Don't you just love those nonsensical anomalies between English and American? Defense/ License verbs in English, nouns in American, Defence/Licence the opposite.

We all agree about Bobby, though.

Don't forget the US's dropping of the letter 'u' in colour. Although I use it.

While I was taught BE in school only I tend to speak and write AE now. Sometimes I misspell words or mix AE with BE though. Funny thing is I started reading a novel by a British writer and had to look up certain words ... pretty devastating.

Other than that we sure do agree ;-)

The AP Stylebook, which most newspapers use here, allows us to keep the "u" in "glamour." Woo-hoo! And you're right, nothing is lost in translation with this guy!
