This is now...
I have some magazines over a year old that have still not been read. I still buy books at the same rate, but there are nearly a hundred waiting to be read. I have so many items on DVD and video that I watch over and over again that I barely find time to watch anything else.
What happened?
And, of course, all of you!

you know, some of these "problems" look pretty familiar to me... you're not the only one, girl! ;)
OK, I have lots of 'oops my widget can't load' which sounds decidedly painful, but Val, you're singing my song!! I used to kickbox (at home) 3 times a week, I'd read at least a book a month, I'd watch various things on TV (not too many, but there were some I'd try not to miss). Then VINCENT arrived in my life. Now I have DVD's still in their wrapping that I bought 3 years ago, I spend my evening reading what everyone has blogged about Vincent and planning what to blog tomorrow, the book I'm currently reading I started last October, I have NO interest in almost all of the 150 satellite channels I have to chose from, except Hallmark on Saturday & Sunday, when I watch what I've already watched several times over and have on DVD anyway. Welcome to the wonderful world of VDO ;0)

I do still read books..but thats only cos I can't take the tv or the computer in the bath or to bed!
On the plus side(apart from VDO)I have a whole new group of friends,and I've learnt how to do more than just turning the pc on....
I have to say my work product on the job has suffered b/c I get my best blogging done during the day. Being on the west coast, Julie & I are among the last to be able to visit the blogs, after all of you have gone to bed!!
But hey, at least I'm in good company! :)
Val, seriously this is something that bothers me bigtime... so much so I have purposely formed a new book club with friends, which means I must be disciplined and read again, at least one book a month.
Because of vincent and the computer I cancelled my newspaper; it was never getting opened. Now I buy one a few days a week.
When I was ill in bed recently (and I refuse to have a television in the bedroom) I read so much; I enjoy it so much.
Vincent/Bobby certainly occupies my every waking and sleeping thought, but my poetry fights with him.
Vincent is dream fodder. He is my fantasy. The reality is he doesn't know who we are, well at least who I am, he probably couldn't care less, but I have family and friends who need my attention and whose love and support I also need.
Sorry if I've gone on, but you brought home a truth.
Vincent must not be our life... we have to have one of our own.
