Any Suggestions?

This bitch was caught on a family's own CCTV putting their kittie in a bin. Since the video went nationwide (worldwide actually) she's been traced, and faces prosecution.

Any suggestions for a suitable punishment? Personally I would put her in a bin for 15 hours.

I'd put her in the bin then nail it shut.

One of my other bloggers, Sam, posted this yesterday and I was sickened by it. As I said over there, the more I interact w/ humans, the more I prefer the company of my pets.

And now that woman has said..What's the big deal, it was just a cat. Well you're just a bitch, get over here so I can beat the crap out of you.

Sorry, deleted 2 of my comments - not able to spell today.
I'm VERY happy that they found Lola and that she survived hell! Send the witch to me; when someone poisoned one of my cats I gave new meaning to the word punishment.

I still can't believe that someone would do that in the first place..but to do it and then say she couldn't see what the big deal was..words fail me...

Lola was on The One Show earlier, being pampered..and looking very happy to be with the family taht obviously dote on her

that lady's sick. she loved on the cat and THEN threw it in there. it was like she had to trick the cat, so she recognized that the cat had some intelligence (aka. inherent value), so what the hell kind of evil is she?

This made me so mad. She should be put in jail! How could anyone do that to any animal?

I have just heard the news that she is now under police protection.

I mean the woman - not the cat.

I've been feeding a stray that suddenly turned up at my house. Totally not feral, so she belonged to someone, yet she is so skittish once I let her inside. It pains me to think of what someone undoubtedly did to her inside a house before ditching her. I just hope karma gets even with these assbags, just like with this woman. At least there's the public humiliation factor here.

Ironic, but I just heard about this from my mom (just hung up the phone with her seconds ago). What a bitch this woman is! She should definitely serve jail time! Glad to know poor Lola is safe!

I'd make her do community service at an animal shelter...surround her with the very thing that seems to bother her...lots of cats.

As a major animal person -- cats and dogs especially -- I'm too upset about this to even comment...but I DO love Judith's idea about the woman!

I think if someone did something bad to my dog -well, to any animal actually, but Leo is the only child I can afford- I'd instantly stop considering them as human beings.

Anyway, it's impossible to call upon the conscience or the reason of this kind of people -it's quite clear they don't have either. Most times the cruellest "beasts" appear as the most respectable citizens, so the only way to punish them is destroy their reputation for keeps.

Sorry for the lengthy post, I get heated when it comes to this matter.

... and one has to wonder what bad deeds don't get caught on camera

i think nantz got it right - community service with animals

giving her a taste of her own medicine reduces us to her level
