Welcome to the world of the Vincent D'Onofrio obsessed - and a bit of real life thrown in.

Conscience

A very clever episode, but not one of my favourites.

UK Vixens, do you agree that the son looked like Alan Davies? It totally detracted from his scenes.

And to remind the UK Vixens as well as inform the US ones, I've added a picture of Alan Davies with his wally hair.

ITWSH

Part 1 was last week, Part 2 is tomorrow. As I have no caps of tonight's offering of The Saint (probably the most absurd episode there ever was) I thought I'd treat myself to some classic Bobby.
This could be MY dark blue shirt!

And let's not forget Ocean's Two:

Sorry the first picture's blurred, but it's a tempting pose...

A Sunny Day in London Zoo

The heron was a bit wary about stepping out on to the ice. Then he found it was just like walking on water.

The ring-tailed lemurs were either meditating or soaking up the rays.

But the stars of the show were the red titi monkeys. Here's the less-than-a-month-old baby with its dad. The father looks after the baby, the mother just happens along for feeding. Sounds good to me!

Privilege

No, not the Season 6 episode.

It's what I've experienced today. On this fine, sunny (though rather cold) day, I have sat in my conservatory and watched the wildlife parade through my garden. Ths sparrows and starlings were the most in evidence, but when I had a dig around the fatty deposits dropped from the much-used bird feeders, my resident but rarely seen grey wagtail landed just a couple of yards from me, as if watching for any worms I may dig up. This is usually the behaviour of robins. Such a privilege.

It is now 4.30 and I left my computer to see if it was an opportune time to refill the feeders. There were two squirrels bounding around, a blackbird on the ground - and TWO robins! They do not usually have overlapping territories. Perhaps the weather is luring them into courtship behaviour? I've bought one nest box to put up on my newish garden shed, I think I'll add a couple more and hope that the garden will be full of baby birds this summer.

Now all I have to do is train the cats to love birds - but NOT as dinner!

I'm feeling a bit Untethered

I just tried to do what I did before when an episode came up "protected" on my HDD/DVD - I told it to record from the video. This involves plugging in the old VCR/DVD player, as the TV/video has no output. I have to rearrange scart leads and all sorts of rigmarole.

Last itme it worked. This time, it seems the protection seems to extend to the video as well. So I still can't get On Fire on to a DVD and cap it. As I wanted to make a threesome out of that, Vacancy and Cruise to Nowhere, I'm still stuffed!

And as mad as Bobby. In the "angry" sense of the word.
