Warmest unheated place in Europe?

I think it's fair to say that Europe is in the freezer at the moment, bizarrely as a result of global warming, which has melted the Arctic ice, setting off some kind of reaction which is likely to freeze our butts off for many winters to come, possibly forever.

Meanwhile, my little conservatory (a sort of small, glass garden room) absorbed the sun falling on it from the south and attained a temperature of 60 degrees F/15 C by 1.30pm. Sadly, by 3pm, with the sun sinking, it was getting pretty cold, so I don't think I'll move myself in there permanently just yet.

It was -5C when I got in the car this morning at 10am - and the shopping mall in Derby had decided what everyone REALLY needed was the air conditioning blasting out freezing cold air.... Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Gee Diane, that's really cold even in farenheight. Knock on wood-- but here on the east coast we've had a fairly mild winter. Although sitting in the green house during the day with a nice cup of coffee or in your case val tea sounds nice.

A bit chilly over the pond eh? Meanwhile we've been enjoying the mildest winter over here.

Vikeau, where do you live? I'm in Massachusetts.

JoJo, it was very mild over here, too...till it wasn't. Beware!

Jo-Jo I'm in Baltimore, about 40 minutes north of Washington D.C.. Although I might have spoken to soon--colder than all get out tonight. About 20 degrees F with 25 miles per hour. Chilly.
