Taking off clothes

Have you ever noticed that men and women take their jumpers off differently? Women grasp them at the hem, crossing over their hands; men raise their arms and grab the back of the neck, hoisting the jumper off unceremoniously over their heads. It looks as though the neck will be stretched out of shape. We women would never dream of treating our clothes that way.

Well, with only one usable arm that must not be used to perform the female version of this manoeuvre, I've found that the male actions are my only way to remove my tops. You can do it with only one arm. It is a lot smoother than it looks. It doesn't leave the neck misshapen. But best of all, you don't have to take off your glasses.

I'm sure the male way of doing this stems from doing things the easy way, or from having their tops removed, first by mum, then by girlfriends, and not having to learn the "civilised", clothes-preserving way of taking things off. But it so happens they have hit on something. Even when I can do it the "proper" way again, I'm not sure I will.

I've tried to find an illustration from one of our favourite V-films, but most of my pictures have been edited out by the prudes at Photobucket. However, I do have one online saved from someone else's post a long time ago that comes close. Thanks to the unidentified donor.
