All you privileged US ladies have seen this and keep mentioning the scene with the lift. WHAT HAPPENED? I can only beg someone to put me out of my misery. Will someone please cap it quick and show-and-tell?
I love Bobby Goren - True!
Welcome to the world of the Vincent D'Onofrio obsessed - and a bit of real life thrown in.

Well, it starts the night before when Eames is still at major case and it's like 2 am. Bobby comes in and tells her to go home, and he keeps working. They show Eames drive up to her house and go inside. They show her birdcage and she goes, "Hey Polly, 3 am's a little late" or something like that and she notices her bird is gone, then her head whips around and the scene fades to black and they go to commercial.
The next morning, Bobby was still in the squad room at his desk and Captain A-hole says, "where's your partner?" and he says he doesn't know, she went home at 2 am, and Capt. says, "well call her and get her in here" or something like that.
So Bobby gets up from his desk and takes out his phone and is walking towards the elevator, or as you say, "lift" and goes to call her. He gets in and the doors start to shut...I can't remember if we heard his phone ring as he was getting in. Just as the doors are about to close all the way, you see his arm (holding the phone) shoot out as the doors shut on his arm, then they open again and he runs back in, yelling that he's gotten a text message from Eames' phone and that the killer "Sebastian" has her and he starts shouting out instructions to everyone. It's then and only then that Capt. A-hole gives Bobby whatever he needs and cooperates w/ Bobby and lets him take the lead.
Thanks, JoJo. Does Eames get her bird back?
oh I shouldn't have read that... I really didn't want to know... and Val someone on the reel has said who dunnit... I felt gutted... tooooooo much information
I wondered the same thing about Eames' bird, but after she escapes, she's in the hospital & they never say. The show ended w/ a long shot of Bobby sitting by Eames' bedside.
In fact, it reminded an awful lot of your stories Ann - where he's tenderly caring for you after the shooting!! Maybe the writers of LOCI have been reading your blog!
Sorry about the spoilers and all.
jojo: I wondered that too considering mrsbg was kidnapped some months ago... hmmmm
but, actually, sometimes I watch story lines and think I could do better than that and I do listen fairly carefully to the dialogue and I just think... huh... that didn't sound right
