Well, here I am with the new computer. I've managed to install McAfee, and getting online only took a few attempts and a phonecall to my provider (they are always brilliant, luckily). Getting used to the keys and Windows 7 will take a bit longer. Maybe a year or two.
I sent myself an email with the shortcuts to my favourite blogs and sites, so I can get them back quite easily. Eventually - there's a very long list!
I can't remember how to get on to my work email, which could be a problem. Meanwhile it's getting close to bedtime, but do I have the strength to log off and leave the rest till tomorrow?
Good luck with the new computer. I hate having to set those things up. My husband takes care of most of it for me. And of course there's my computer programming stepson who's always handy. I'm beginning to feel like my parents who I would get frustrated with because they couldn't figure out the VCR and refused to use the ATM because it scared them. lol

ReplyDeleteI hate being computer challenged.....
I'm sure you'll do just fine, Val. Can't do it all in one evening ... at least, I know I can't. LOL
ReplyDeletePersonally, I love computer challenges .... as long as I come out as winner.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, Val! And congrats to your new computer.
It took me awhile to get used to Windows 7....
