Three in a row

Having just had two days of watching Vincent, today I topped up with our annual UK Vixens reunion in London. (OK, I know last year we had two, when Maui came to visit, but that was a lovely exception.)

You just can't have too much Vincent.

Ann, who doesn't blog any more, but will always be a treasured member of the Gang, is in charge of finding restaurants. Today we came out of Victoria Station and looked across the road. There was a perfectly decent restaurant just a short stumble away, and we ensconced ourselves for a couple of hours eating pizza and delicious desserts, and talking Vincent. Good find.

Ann had to go fairly early, so we walked past Buckinham Palace and through Green Park to get her to a convenient tube station, then Eliza, Diane and I carried on to look at the Bomber Command monument I blogged about at its unveiling in June. Then we retraced our steps and found  a coffee shop where we all had - Ta-Da! - tea.

Diane thought I might photoshop her picture. Even if I could, I don't see why I'd need to:

I just had to get a picture of Eliza's handcuff necklace. I wonder why she wears that?

They insisted I have my picture taken. If I could have photoshopped anything, it would have been my boobs out of this shot:

For some reason Diane and Eliza wanted to know all about Chained. They even insisted I tell them about the "twist". Diane was quite to keen to know if Vincent's character dies, and if so how.

We also reminisced about those who have come and gone from the Vixen and V-blogging world. We, of course, are here to stay.

Missing Vixens, where are you? Let us know.

I tried calling at least 20 times on Eliza's mobile, I wanted to say Hello to you all, but she didn't answer... Anyway, I'm glad you had fun :)

  5. Am I jealous much? You bet-- I would love to have a face to face with fellow Vixens. Just to spend the day sharing good times, good food and our favorite subject. Sounds like you all had a terrific time.

OK, how much do you want to destroy that picture of me??!! Pictures of me should never be taken, except with a long lens, and preferably even then, from another continent.

Sorry Madi, Tess called me too, but it was so noisy wherever we seemed to go, none of us heard phones ringing :0(

My first question to Val was 'So, how does he die in 'Chained'?' There was never any question that he WOULDN'T of course!!!

Lovely day, thanks to my V-Sisters :0)

  7. Ah, but Diane, there was a point at which his death seemed less inevitable. I was saving that as a surprise for those who didn't want to know...

  8. Awful picture of me..but I say that about all of them :D

I couldn't help but find out what happened at the end of Chained...knowing you'd seen it, there was no way I could have waited until I got the dvd, it would have driven me more mad than usual

Madi, I'm so sorry I didn't answer your calls..I didn't even realise the phone had rung until later..blame 4 women all talking too much :P

Thank You all for a wonderful day..although after that dessert I'm thinking I should only eat salad for the rest of the week....

I always base any new film on the premise that he WILL die, and probably horribly. That way, if he doesn't, it's an added bonus!

  11. Ohhhh, you ALL look fabulous!! What I want to know: did the restaurant patrons think you were four crazy women with the non-stop laughter/chatter?

  12. It's nice to see pics of the bloggers! I am a closet VDO fan-for about 4 years now. While my sis was ill and in various nursing homes, she started watching anything crime related like loci and svu. I thought VDO looked like my ex husband, so I started investigating his background and got hooked.
