A Response

Great Skanky was in the Sunday press again this week slagging off the D'Ivine One. Diane was incensed, and she and I both left comments on the online page.

To celebrate the fact that Vincent had the good taste to rid himself of the Harpie, I decided to post some pictures from Fires Within, the film on which they met, with a minimal amount of non-Vincent interference.

I didn't have to edit this one, he did it for me!

That's me on top of him - or you, as you will no doubt prefer!

Luckily the eye and nose are non-identifiable.

That's it, Vincent, poke her eye out!

Yes, it would be a much better film if just Vincent was in it.

  1. Thank You for your consideration in posting minimal GS, it's very much appreciated :-)

Did you notice how 'Fire Within'(!!) didn't see the light of day??? Maybe it didn't then, but V lovers must have improved sales no end..much more than GS fans, if such things exist

  2. Ahhh Val, you're text to the pix are priceless. Great pix, BTW. And, WTF is wrong with that woman??? How many years are they apart, and she still talks about this? Does she not think it hurts her daughter? Does G have nothing more important to chat about? I feel bad for her first cousin, I mean lover. Nothing he ever does will make her forget Vincent.

lol Mauigirl, that subtle burn at the end regarding the first cousin! LOVE IT!

I'm a fairly newish Vincent lover...can someone fill me in on what went down?

  4. Love the pics and commentary Val.. just got this one in the mail too. Should be an interesting view. But, I find it very bizarre that G would still be bashing our beloved darling. Could their relationship been THAT bad? I mean, she's the one who married her cousin. I think that tops anything he would have done. But then again, if I had a shot at him, my life wouldn't be the same either.

We have heard her side, not his.

She who holds herself up as a superior intellect and fine person, could have told that story without her anger about his part....

In addition her grammar is not perfect, but she does not know it, so how smart is she?

But it gives a chance to see those pix once again along with showing her body one more time.

She does win the "ice queen" prize as demonstrated in three other pix I can recall.....not a wide range of emotion, perhaps that is what affected her career.

    She missed two boats.

  6. The woman needs counseling or something. She needs to give it up and show some class. Vincent never says anything about it and she just harps on and on and on. It's really pathetic how she comes across.

    It's the never-ending whine.

  7. Begs me to wonder though.. he did become more recognizable after their relationship ended. More exposure in movies, and then his role on LOCI. Plus, he married Carin. Maybe there are resentments against his "fame". Not having to be the struggling actor anymore. Now he can choose his projects since he has established himself. And she seems to have become the weirdo ex who can't let go and has to relive 20yrs ago. Just a thought....

  8. I can't help but tip my cap to her, though, for nailing both him and a Finn brother. That is some quality time in the sack.

  9. While I think she needs to shut up about this...She lived with him, slept with him, had his child...She knows him better than any of us do.

  10. Vincent in his 30s? I imagine him as irresistible as difficult to be with. He's not an ordinary man, otherwise we wouldn't be here talking about him. GS is surely an offbeat kind of woman, but I think her problem is, she doesn't see the difference between public and private business. She talks to media as she would with her friends (and several get their ex partners infamous, unfortunately). Crazy egomaniac or socially inept? Who can guess

  11. All that said, I LOVED this "other" Sam in this movie!! What a sweetheart!! I don't know the details of all the relationship stuff, so I just won't comment.

  12. Val, is there any chance you could reprint the article of GS so we could all read it? You have my curiousity piqued. she was a beautiful woman back then, although it appears not much upstairs.
