I think that reference to Crazy Bunny Wallace was a bit misplaced. In other occasions, like Siren Call for instance, Bobby actually brought up his family for the sake of solving the case. Not this time.
I'm kinda liking the therapy sessions, I love the way Vincent portrays Goren there, it's the usual Bobby and yet different.
I could have done without seeing old 'Heart-in-a-box' but I suppose it served a purpose. Shame there's no one they can insert from the past with an explanation as to how Bobby got his badge back (yep, still pissed off as hell about that!)
The therapy sessions are the best part...they probably stuck Nicole in there so they could appease everyone...too bad it looks like they are trying too hard this year.
Yes Nantz, I know what you mean. Rather than a return to C.I. roots the new season looks more like a compendium of "anything the average LOCI fan would like to see." I miss the times when Goren managed to be genuinely unpleasant and the whole aria was unpleasant with him. I'm kinda twisted, I know! I'm not complaining that much anyway: he's one the most memorable characters in tv history and deserves a proper -PROPER- exit scene, sorrounded by the love of the fans.
What did you think about the flashback he had in therapy to SWMNBN?
ReplyDeleteLiked it - but how can he say he used his family? She brought it all up, not him, she'd done all that research.
ReplyDeleteBitch.

ReplyDeleteI loved the flashback because I miss Nicole.
