Foxed

This is a picture of the London building that's now officially the tallest in the capital. It's known as The Shard.

This is an artist's impression of what it will look like when it's finished - a real shard of glass, or so they think.

Back in February, there was a story all over the news about this little fellah, nicknamed Romeo, who'd taken up residence on the 72nd of the building's 80 floors. No one knows how he got there, but he was fed by the builders on their lunchtime sandwiches. After his rescue he was released on to the streets of south London with strict instructions to keep his paws on the ground from now on.

  1. What a stunning piece of architecture!! WOW!!! Not to sound like...erm...myself....but the wild animal so out of place in such a setting seems kinda surreal, don't you think, hon?

It looks more like an omen of sorts. It's a beautiful animal and it's really odd for it to be so high up. Very interesting post!!! xxx

    Enjoy your Easter, Val!

  2. I'm actually not too crazy about that new building at all. But then again, I don't like these modern buildings anyways. It's like Vancouver BC...all steel and glass. Makes the whole city look grey even when the sun is out.

Loved the fox though. So cute!

  5. I like the way it's going to look. Interesting how the wild mixes with the developed cities.
