I don't actually know what I will be allowed to do after the operation. They have to repair the rotator cuff on my right shoulder (damaged in a fall on a dodgy pavement in October 2009, and over which I am trying to sue the local council) and I don't want to rip the internal stitches. I doubt I'll even be able to wear a bra, which is rather alarming when you wear a K-cup! My friend will do what she can to help out in between looking after her elderly mother, but I just know I'll try and do something I shouldn't just because I like to be independent.

On first reading, I thought you'd said your friend was helping out with regards to you having a 'K' cup - the mental picture was quite something - LOL!

Good luck with the surgery. I've had both rotator cuffs worked on, and yes, you'll be without a bra until you can manipulate the damn thing and be able to stand the strap near the incision. I wish all the best for you. Can you type with one hand?! LOL

Good Luck with the surgery and recovery period. Take plenty of time to heal. If it were in my power to do so, I would arrange a certain man we all love to sit with you and hold your hand. But, since I have no magical powers what soever, I'll just have to think good thoughts for you. Take care.
