Most of you will have seen this item about Vincent making an ad in favour of restricting the availability of weapons that have capacity of more than 10 bullets.
Obviously, the average Brit thinks this is 10 bullets and a gun too many, but for the US it's a tiny move in the right direction.
Can't wait to see the actual ad.
Thanks, Val! Vincent is my hero!!!
ReplyDeleteHEY WHEN U GONNA PUT UP PICS OF STATTON ISLAND UP.............LOVE THAT VINNIE/BOBBY............
ReplyDeleteLOOKS Good Val. So how many times today have you watched the video? I'm running out of fingers and toes.

Me, too!
It's good see Vincent out there putting his name behind the things he believes in.
ReplyDeleteSadly, restrictions will never happen. We've had school shootings, mall shootings, restaurant shootings, post office shootings, a shooting in The Capital Building, Presidents gunned down...None of those things have disturbed Americans enough to call for change.
ReplyDeleteSorry to be so negative but...While I admire Vincent for speaking out, he's not the first and it's nothing new.
He may be a voice in the wilderness of a gun-loving culture, but at least he's out there saying it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Diane. It may or may not do any good, but at least he's *trying* to help the situation. And that's more than most of us can say. I hope his PSA will motivate enough people to contact the legislators and shame them into actually getting behind this very important issue!
ReplyDeleteHi, Sweets. I have posted Staten Island in the past, but just for you, I'll do it for my next post. I love the film, too.
ReplyDeleteBev, I've only watched it 3 or 4 times. So far...
