Diane has emailed the BBC, and I have sent an email to the "You Ask Us" section of their listing magazine:
In a recent interview, actor Vincent D'Onofrio mentioned that he had recorded some radio plays for the BBC. Fellow fans from across the world have been asking us Brits what and when they were, but we have no idea. The best we can guess is that it was in the mid-1980s when he was in the UK for 13 months while filming Full Metal Jacket for Stanley Kubrick.
Can you please put us out of our misery - and perhaps rebroadcast them for his adoring fans?
Here's hoping one of us gets some joy.

I hadn't thought of e-mailing the Radio Times..and I read that section every week (I'm feeling slow today)
Hopefully if we bombard them they may get back to us :-)
I've searched high and low and haven't found a thing. Good idea about emailing them.
I sent an email to the BBC also last week :) Here's hoping they look into it!
Cool! I hope you guys get a response!
That would be so great if they came across with them. Keeping my fingers (and toes) crossed. Thanks for thinking of it.
I'd heard mention of British radio shows a few years back....I've haven't found hide-nor-hair of anything. Hope you guys on the other side of the pond have better luck.
Thanks Val!!
I am so curious to find out anything I can about the plays her did.
Even if they aren't available, there's something in just knowing. Ya know, like more than we knew before...
*fingers crossed*
I was very curious about this, too. It will be interesting to see if and how they respond!
Do you think that multiple inquiries like Eliza suggested will bring about results?
Do you have a direct email address for the magazine you wrote in to?
Um, what Vincent said was he'd done a 'couple of things for the BBC', he didn't specify 'radio plays' BUT I'll be happy if that's what he's done; even happier if his audios have 'visuals' to go with them; and completely exstatic if we get to see/hear whatever it is :0)
I tried the obvious: putting Vincent's name into the Beebs web search browser. Surprisingly (not!), it came up with nothing at all - so maybe this is 'goodies to come' rather goodies we've somehow missed.
