Niece? What Niece?

I was hoping that one day we'd discover how Bobby came to have a niece when his only brother just had a son. Where did this "family" he was visiting actually come from? We need to know.

We never will.

I'm a little clueless when it comes this ep. Nice caps though, esp. no. 11 and 13.

  2. I was hoping the same, Val. And it's just unfair that we'll never know. Perhaps Bobby has (had) a sister of whom we have no knowledge.
The second cap means shower time for me!

Awwww, the first one is so sweet. There are so many unanswered questions and it doesn't seem fair. Why even bring these people into the storyline if you're just going to drop it? It's a waste. And Donnie is probably living under some bridge in NYC. We'll never know.

  4. Donny made sense...Molly made absolutely no sense. The 'family' storyline ended when Frank died, it was insulting that the writers tried to pawn off a 'new family' for Bobby.

  5. That was his niece's family that he was spending time with in this episode? This is the first I'm hearing of it. I never knew who that family was; I assumed they were distant cousins.

  6. Some people assume it was from his biological father 'Brady'... That it's from a sibling through that side...

  7. Maybe a half-sibling? Maybe his father - the womanizer who he thought was his father - had another child?

I always assumed it was like a cousin or something and she just called him Uncle Bobby or something.

  8. I always thought Molly's dad could have been an old army buddy of Bobby's ... someone he had a "brotherly" relationship with, but not an actual blood relative. Just a theory.

  9. O...M...G! Every one of these caps has just about put me into shock! But the ones from the back...OH!!!! I also wanted some resolution to the "family," though. Oh well.

There's no WAY in hell Bobby would 'commune' with any members of the family of Mark Ford Brady (Serial Killer and rapist)unless the writers had REALLY lost the plot. I always thought this was maybe some kin of his mother's. Maybe he had an aunt who had children, who then had children and they just called her Bobby's 'niece' because it was easier that way - who knows?!!

  11. Family can be complicated..so I just assumed she was the daughter of a cousin or something and 'niece' was the easiest way for Bobby to describe her...but it would have been nice to have found out exactly who she was.

Thank you for the shot of his hand on the tank of the motorbike..I would so liked him to have been sat on it when they came out

  12. Good question, Val. I had understood nothing when I looked at this episode. Delighted to see that I am not the only one!

Bobby was particularly gorgeous in this episode. Thx for those caps!

  14. I never knew what to make of that family dinner thing either, but VDO's so gorgeous in that episode, I don't think i really knew at all what was happening... any of the several dozen times it's been on the tube, even though he looks miserable.
