Getting there

One of the reasons why my picture-capping is not as comprehensive as I would like, especially where Vincent's films are concerned, is that they have been in boxes which were then piled up in my living room. There was a lot of rearranging to do to even get to the box I thought what I wanted was in, and then there was a good chance it wasn't the correct box.

On Sunday I moved the boxes into the spare room, where I took this picture.

Then I just had to wait for this afternoon for the arrival to the answer to all my problems (I hope) - this 6ft bookcase.

I've been emptying the boxes on to the shelves since it arrived just before 3pm. I'm trying to colour code the cases of seasons 6-8 until I get the chance to print out some of the covers Eliza has created recently.
Don't you love the cork insulation in the recess?
Especially the swathe cut through it over the years by bird beaks...
I've managed to fit some books on the shelves, some computer programmes, and a few empty cases and blank DVDs as well. Just one more shelf to go, and only about 300 books to fit on to it.
Meanwhile, I have finally installed my printer driver on to this computer (the disc is long missing, so I had to download it) so that I can also print some Vincent calendars.
Sadly, I also have to find time to work :-(

  7. Well done, Val.
Am I the only one here who is unorganized?
