Two exclamations guaranteed to have me throwing things at the TV.
I love Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. But the people who have their homes rebuilt ALWAYS say them.
Are people in the US really so scared of say "Oh my god"? Do they really feel awe when they see their new home?
Once per show I could probably tolerate, but we are talking about every minute or two. AAAARRRGGHHH!

ReplyDeleteFrankly, while I am glad that the show is doing some good for the recipients of these homes, I can't watch it. The saccharine overdose makes my teeth hurt.
ReplyDeleteSince I watched that show (BIG MISTAKE!!!) I don't like my apartment anymore and feel the need to redecorate it. Aaarrrgh!
ReplyDeletelol I think OMG is the new wow, in this country. For some it's just a reflex as even people who are atheists say it from time to time. I've caught them. ;-)
