A few weeks ago, I did a post which included the Attenborough brothers, (Sir) David and (Lord) Richard.
This week's "Life Story" broadcast on Radio 4 by David was about amber, including the little creatures found in them. He mentioned in passing the theory that the blood of a dinosaur could be extracted from a mosquito embedded in amber and used to recreate dinosaurs.
This recalled, of course, (but made no mention of) the famous movie in which his illustrious brother starred. Along with someone we would unfortunately like to forget right now.
The broadcast is worth a listen though:

Thank You for the link..I shall go and listen now. I can happily listen to David for hours having grown up with his various wildlife projects

ReplyDeleteNot sure if I want to see dinosaurs back on our planet. But I really like this idea: with a little drop of Vincent's blood we could clone "our" man several times. That would be one T-Rex. Or, in this case V-Rex!
ReplyDeleteJazzy, you are SOOOOO creative! I love it: V-Rex!
ReplyDeleteI wish that T-rex in the movie had been a bit swifter ;0)
ReplyDeleteExcept if we cloned Vincent, we'd all be anciently old and grey by the time he reached the age of majority!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure of that, JoJo. My comment was meant to be a joke.
