Let's hear it for Sarah L.
Sarah, please don't be embarrassed about trying to warn us against going to the weird place mentioned in that comment. It looked trollish to me, too, so I didn't even follow the link. When I read your comment I was glad I never bothered. I know Diane didn't mean to upset you with her own comment, just explain. She's only nasty to trolls and you obviously are not one!
So please continue to comment. And just to encourage you, here are some of the few pictures Photobucket left uncensored in my Guy album. I dare you to stay silent in the face of such goodies!
Whoa, what did I do now?! I'm sorry Sarah, as Val said, I was just trying to explain how I thought the two stories had got muddled up, I most certainly wasn't accusing you of deliberately nibbling on what you thought was a troll (not recommended; they're not very tasty) story. I thought just the same when I saw 'Fantasy Fables'or whatever it was that first link said, but when I opened the link (and I think you said you couldn't?) it soom became clear that it was a google-weird thing, rather than a deliberate act of trollism. Come back, we need the V-defenders ;0)
Yes, Sarah, come back. Like you, I Googled the site, searched it thoroughly and came up with what you and Diane discovered. So, I was thinking the same as you..."trolled" again...and was going to post a similar warning, but you had already done so.
Diane's a sweetie...it was not her intent to hurt your feelings, so please don't take offense. Like she said, ALL VDO defenders are needed and...I might add...welcome at all the Vincent blogs.
Talk about twisting my knickers up good and proper! I really should have checked with Diane BEFORE posting this - PLEEEEAZE don't think I was having a go, Diane. You are the LAST person I would have a go at. (And Eliza. And Tess. And Ann. And JoJo. And...)
Having been given the day off the school run (there is a God!) I just got back from walking the dogs, and saw this. Thanks for the post Val, but oh my goodness, I wasn't embarrassed about anything Diane said! It was because 'anonymous' seemed to think I was accusing her/him of being one of 'those' people - and poor Diane got the blame *cyber hugs of apology* I'd better learn to explain myself more clearly if I'm going to carry on commenting. Told you it was probably better if I just looked but didn't talk ;)

Not sure I know all that's going on here but, I do know Diane would never hurt anyone.
ReplyDeleteHope you'll decide to stick around Sarah.
