Untethered

The most frightening thing about this episode is how frightened Bobby was in that room. Then at the end he is so alone - he needs the love of a good woman. I'm here, Bobby!

Yeah, these two midgets really look like they could manage Bobby, don't they?

How could he do that to his lovely fingers?

  1. WARNING: SPOILERY! What an episode!!! What a cliffhanger!!! I cannot WAIT to see how the writers get Bobby Goren out of this mess! What will become of his nephew? His relationship with brother (or half brother?) Frank? How will this effect his relationships with Eames and Ross now that he is responsible for tarnishing their records? Will he clear his psych evaluation? Will he take Frank's advice regarding Eames? LOL. Will that Nurse Ratchet of a prison warden get what's coming to her for seemingly enjoying watching Bobby tied down to a slab from the privacy of her office? WE MUST HAVE ANSWERS!!!!!

Fantastic moving episode. Vincent should get an emmy for his performance. I love Bobby so. I want to take care of him. Of course that goes for Vincent too!

what's that expressio? no good deed goes unpunished? bobby so felt that he was doing the right thing and look what happens to him.
it was so difficult watching the scenes where he was strapped down...his panic and fear were palpable. sooooo emmy worthy. it'll be very interesting to see how all of this plays out.

    wonderful caps, val

  5. I got so wrapped up in this one that I could feel his hurt, and bewilderment in the last scene...when he was stood all alone in Time Square(?) I so wanted to just go and wrap my arms round him and tell him everything was going to be ok.

Great pics, but since I don't watch the new ones (I know, God will smite me), I have no idea what's going on. I'm starting from the beginning, so it'll take a while to get to the new seasons. This does sound interesting, though.

  7. It was torture to see Bobby strapped down begging for water. And once again, Frank (Bastard, Son Of A Bitch) hurt him. My Poor Baby :(

My baby, my poor sweet baby! I watched most of this cowering in a corner of the sofa, shaking like a leaf and peering over the top of my cuddling cushion, which I almost ate on at least 2 occasions. One was watching him struggling to hold onto his cover story in his head while he was being pumped full of drugs, and ever worse was watching the expressions on his darling face when they wheeled him into 'Heaven'. An awesome episode, worthy of an Emmy, but sadly, Vincent doesn't play the Hollyweird game, so he's unlikely to ever get one (ditto for the Oscar!)

On a side note, I hope all the weight-nazis currently having a party slaughtering our Vincent at various boards and Forums, end up in 'Heaven'. In fact, I'd strap them in there myself - and leave them there, ad infinitum. The man is an acting genius and a SexGod of the First Order.
Sorry Val, I'm a little on the tetchy side today!!

I know I am in a minority, but while Goren is quirky, he is highly moral and solves all the damn cases. I just do not get why the "BRASS" is on his ass all the time. This ep made me angry, although there were some points to keep in mind. Ross may dislike Goren 100%, but he went with Eames anyway and got Goren out. And why does Ross harp on Eames being the senior partner, I swear in one of the 1st season eps, Goren was the lead detective.

Frank is a total loser, like any other junkie he twists everything for his own comfort. He goes to Goren to beg him to help Donny, Goren goes, is tortured and more and yet, Frank BLAMES him at the end. grrrrr.... And in our current criminal justice system with jails being the hell-holes that they are, leaving your kid in one for a year of "tough love" is ridiculous.

I loved the moment when Goren tells Donny he does not think he is crazy. Their whole family is certainly touched by mental illness, but not everyone is a nut case or a whack job. I want to see Goren go to get his shrink evaluation so so much, but I bet they do not show us.

Big episode and I hope it is the one that TPTB enter into Emmy contention. And how cool is it that NBC is putting LOCI back in prime time on their network. YAY for CI bringing in the numbers!

  10. Diane, my dear, I could NOT agree more! I am so SICK of the "weight Nazis" harping on about VDO's weight gain. The man LOVES TO EAT!!! He's back with his wife. They're having a baby. He's turning out some of the best performances of his career. And no matter how BIG he gets, his sex appeal NEVER lessens. He's a big, cuddly teddy bear and thick or thin, he's equally delish. Well, from my POV anyway! Okay, I'll stop ranting now . . . for awhile . . . heh-heh.

Ah Snarkangel, what beautiful music we could make together... People seem to have forgotten he needed to be carrying some serious weight for his role in 'The Narrows' (god forbid they should read the book before commencing whining) and it's NOT going to disappear overnight. As you say, 'thick or thin' he's still our amazing, beeee-U-tee-full, HAPPY, Vincent D'Onofrio.
