Vroom, vroom

I picked up my loan car today, and was given the good news that Nissan has agreed to replace my gearbox with a new one, rather than have the dealership try to repair the old one. Sometimes a 3-day warranty is as good as a 3-year one!

Ah loan cars! An ex-boss of mine had to hand in his shiney black BMW soft top convertible for a while, and was given a sort of pinky/orange Fiat thingy to run about in. He was SO ashamed of it, he refused to park it outside his 'designer-single-male-swinger apartment-pad and when it needed filling with petrol before it went back wence it came, I was the one who had to take it to the garage ;0)

  2. Luckily mine is just like the old one - except darker grey. Oh, and 3 doors rather than 5. And of course 2 years newer and with more bells and whistles.

    Still like mine better though.

  5. Sounds like you're a bit rough on the old gearbox Val. You do know to push the clutch down before changing gear don't you?

/saying nothing about women drivers. Thinking it, just not saying it :op

  7. Hey you never said it was a beginner's car. Come and talk to me about driving when you graduate to a stick shift.

  8. Excuse me Val while I have a word with Michael.
Michael, you should not even be thinking like that about women drivers, especially since so many of them are taught to drive by men!
    You naughty person!lol

OK I'm back with you Val. I'm glad to see that your loaner is not a total embarrassment and I hope you have your own car back soon.

  9. Why do I suddenly feel like you are plotting your revenge even as I type?

    You're quiet.

    Too quiet.

  10. You'd better start saying what wonderful drivers women are, Michael, or you are in REAL trouble.
