OMG!
I AM on the internet. I just limited my Google search to UK pages only and came across this review for an opera I was in several years ago. http://www.operanova.co.uk/onflute.html And before you ask, I am NOT in any of the pictures.
I have got to laugh! I live in Northern Virginia and the local opera company is NOVA at NOVACC which is Northern Virginia Community College. So I thought, OMG! you sing here? LOL. My daughter is a cellist at Shenandoah Conservatory of Music in Winchester, VA and she played in the orch for Magic Flute last year, I saw it twice. And, my son is a pianist, accompanist and baritone, he the Popagano duos with a soprano at her senior recital, he went to Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, he is now working in California as an assistant conductor and pianist for a resident theater company. Music! Music! everywhere.

ReplyDeleteLociloco
you sing??? are we going to hear a sample?
ReplyDeleteDear Val-
ReplyDeleteKnew that you loved opera but not actually that you had performed opera-
Bravo to you-
Regi.
Lociloco, you have a talented family. And what a coincidence about the names.
ReplyDeleteSusan - no! (Actually, you have a lucky escape. I might be tempted if the performances I have were not all on VHS).
Regi, it's all sort of slipped into the past. I find I no longer have the energy, and it is a high-energy hobby.
Cool! You're famous!! And we would like to hear you sing!
ReplyDeleteCome on, Val! Sing us a "love song for Vincent!"
ReplyDeleteBobby's Girl here, Way cool, Val. Or should I say Bravo!
