The Extent of Edenbridge
No commentary, just a sweep of the grounds, which cover five acres (not including the filed with the sheep in where we park the cars) and the house. Oh, and a huge pumpkin.
Just think, I actually know people who live in a place like this!
What a gorgeous place. And look! It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!! Just imagine spending a very long and relaxing vacation there ... alone ... with Vincent...
Ah, England touched by the first brush of Autumn! I may hate what the PC brigade and politicians are doing to my country, but nothing can take away the land's beauty *sighs*
Oh my, how exquisitely beautiful. Thanks for sharing these pix.

ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! Did I spy an oasthouse on the grounds? Kent Goldings hops are some of the best in the world.
ReplyDeleteWas your cel phone propping up the pumpkin or put there for scale?
oh, lovely, lovely. waaaaaah. i wanna go to England now!!!! quit the job and just go........
ReplyDeletewhy is it that everything in england looks so lovely, pastoral and welcoming? val, your pictures just prove that.
ReplyDeleteYes, JoJo, there is an oast house. They use it to make teas when they open the garden to the public, and also for changing in when they use the pool.
ReplyDeleteThe phone was there for scale - it belonged to another guest, whose idea it was.
