Trapped in a Nightmare

Was he fathered by a serial killer, who later raped his mother, a rape which precipitated his her schizophrenia? Is this why his mother always showed preference to his brother? It must be tearing Bobby apart.

As I said yesterday, had Frances not died of natural causes, I may have been forced to smother her. She HIT him!!! And although I'm comforted by the fact she kept saying 'Your father was away a lot...' how unspeakably cruel to leave our sweetheart with the words 'I've never really known' as to who fathered him. *Weeps some more into keyboard and desperately needs to hug Bobby*

    julie...

if it is true the awful Mark Brady is Bobby's father then I invite poor Bobby to come to bed with me and I'll make him forget all about it.

  3. If he is Brady's son, he wasn't conceived from rape, so at least he can take solace from that, such that it is.....but yeah, how agonizing for him. Val, the pictures are breaking my heart.

PS Do you not know the story of the Edmund Fitzgerald?

  4. The funny thing is that lookswise Tony Goldwyn and Roy Scheider could pass as father and son

However... she actually sounded quite fond of Uncle Mark

I pray he is not Bobby's father... that would too too cruel, but wouldn't SWMNBN have an absolute field day with that and wouldn't that be a perfect way in for Bobby to do off the wall.

Sitting alone in that empty darkened room he was probably wondering who was this woman... here he is, a great detective, and he didn't have a clue about his mother. I mean what kinda woman leaves two young children at home to fend for themselves?

He may have blamed his father for being a bon vivant, but doesn't sound like she was much better... so between his mother, his two potential fathers, Bobby's turned out real fine. But for how much longer?

So many questions, so many theories, so much conjecture!

  6. I'm glad Mommy died. She was a witch. I don't think she was raped either. Ann you are right, it's a miracle that Bobby turned out to be such a good guy. Maybe we will find out more about the man he has always believed to be his father (I don't choose to think Bobby's father was a serial killer).

  7. Hey guys. I'm new to this stuff, so be gentle with me. I started my own blog at http://obsessedwithvincentdonofrio.blogspot.com/

This has to be one of the best episodes from this season. I actually started crying near the end when his lip started to tremble.

yep, his daddy's the serial killer. makes for a very dramatic story.

now that his mother has passed, he needs a girlfriend! im very persisitant on this girlfriend thing....you know, i think i would make a very good actress and what better way than to try it out than try it out on vincent as his girlfriend? :)
