Good Luck Sunday
Good Luck really is one of my favourite Vincent D'Onofrio films. He is so cute and yummy, his acting is brilliant, and there's such a feel-good factor to it.
As I'm sure I've told you, the first time I saw this, Michelle and I were on a coach travelling to Italy. Imagine the scene - we have one small portable (region free - YIPPEEE!) DVD player, and headphones on, and are laughing ourselves silly surrounded by lots of people we don't know...definitely one of the more surreal experiences of my life ;0)
Bobby's Girl I saw it too Julie. I love it when you have it really zoom in on the important parts. This movie sits on top of my tv so I can pop it in whenever I feel the need!
I adore this film... and I can't stand scatalogical humour, but I belly laugh through it.
ReplyDeletemy only regret is that I hoped at the end being knocked about in the water would have restored olee's sight... shame!
perhaps that would have been too much of a twee ending
julie....
ReplyDeletedefinitely one of my fave VDO films. thought Gregory Hines was wonderful in it as well.
okay, i have to comment; i love the glimpse of a certain something we get when he's wearing those grey sweatpants. YUM.
I love Olee! And you are so right Val - he is so completely yummy in this movie...
ReplyDeleteI wanna know what the girl did to him 'that they only do in Cuba!"

ReplyDeleteGee Julie, whatever could you be talking about with the sweatpants? hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteLOVE this movie. I think it's my fave Vincent movie by far, because he doesn't die at the end!
Bobby's Girl
