Dolls' House update for US
Sue and Alan's Little Treasures, as featured in yesterday's post, are going to the US. If you fancy one of their gorgeous little houses, you may be able to catch them at fairs in : Orlando - February Chicago - April Sturbridge (?) - June
Sturbridge is in Massachusetts; they have a colonial set up there, it's called "Olde Sturbridge Village", which is sort of like Plymouth Plantation, where everyone dresses up in period clothes and pretends they are from that 1600's-1700's era.
Can you believe I was born and raised in MA and have never been to Olde Sturbridge Village?!
hey val, i was here yesterday but didn't really have time to post. but i wanted to tell you, my great aunt makes doll houses, and the furniture and all. she hasn't in recent years, (she's 78 now) but as a kid i can remember going to her house and being in a completely different world looking into her houses. there was this one in particular that i remember it had 4 stories and one had this tiny little telephone....anyway, thanx for this post, it took me back:)
