Back when I had a life
I've belonged to quite a few opera groups in my time. This was the last one. It folded in 2000 thanks to a crummy musical director. We had some great times.
The picture is of an Edwardian Evening we did as a fundraiser. The lady in the background, a lifelong non-smoker, died of lung cancer. We think it was because she used to sing in smokey clubs.

Is it a bird? Is it a plane?
What was the question again?
I wish he'd interrogate me. One look from those lovely eyes, one word from those luscious lips, and I'd admit to anything.

Five out of the seven, a teddy and a tiger
Why do cats love sleeping on human beds, but never in cat beds? Here are, from the left, Beano, Dandy, Shelley and Jaspa, with Mitzi on the tiger's back. (The tiger is fur fabric with a polystyrene head, by the way).
Dandy has been to the vet's again today with an abcess on his head. He looked as if he were frowning and was off his food, so I knew what was wrong. Now I have a week of antibiotics to get down him and some serious bathing to do.
The vet loves my cats.

what a naughty girl
Wow!
Green-wing Macaw
Scarlet Macaw
Well, I suppose these might beat the squirrel monkeys for improbable colours.
