I love all the bird feeders and the cats certainly know what they're for.
I used to live in a beautiful house backing on to fields with a lake and horses and cows grazing and the wildlife was wonderful and the birds we attracted... hundreds of blue tits, robins, yellow hammers, martins, blackbirds, etc. the odd woodpecker and we even had pheasants in the garden anhd of course I told you about the parrot.
Sadly I had to move and now I live on an estate surrounded by brick. The only birds we get are magpies, crows, pigeons and the odd blackbird. Can't even put out a bird table.
Today I was back in my old neck of the woods; literally a five minute drive from home, and I just sat in my car and watched so many beautiful birds again. I really miss them
