If you liked the Miranda clip

The show is on BBC iPlayer, http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/

Don't know if it works outside the UK, but if it does - enjoy!

Miranda

Miranda Hart is a large ungainly actress who has her own TV comedy show. She confides embarrassing stuff to the camera. She has a beautiful mother who despairs of her, and is always trying to marry her off. She tries desperately to fit in with her posh ex-school friends, but is always humiliated. And she has a great line in slapstick. I don't usually like seeing people fall over as a comic stunt, but Miranda does it incredibly well. Makes me laugh every time. I hope she appeals to you, too.

I'd Like to Ride HIm...

Forget Horsemen 1, 2 and 3.

Ohh, look, the dirty white t-shirt of steaminess!

WOOF!
Let me mount up.

I knew it could happen

But I didn't seriously believe I'd ever see it.

There she was, with a dead mouse, tossing it about. Did she kill it, or was it already dead?

Then she swallowed it whole. Head first. Tail last, still sticking out.

Yes, they said a chicken would eat a mouse. It's true.

New Season 5 - Cruise To Nowhere

Indie-fat-eeeeg-able

Yes, folks, that's me when it comes to misuses of language that lead to incomprehensibilty.

Today, on Radio 4 (the BBC's spoken word flagship station) a presenter used this word. Yes. Indie-fat-EEG-able. WTF? I thought. Then it came to me. She meant "indefatigable".

When ignorance leads to such misuse that someone with advanced qualifications in English needs several seconds to process what the hell someone means, the laxness of those who should be setting a good example has gone too far.

What a Family!

These people are too clever for their own good. As with Smothered, at the end of the day, all their machinations to try and cause someone's death without actually being held responsible backfire, and everyone makes it to jail.

One of my favourite pictures of all time.

Forget that Irene - I'm over here!

The Doctor's Comeuppance

Message to arrogant doctor - don't underestimate "civil servants" - especially when they're called Bobby Goren!
