The tiger keepers had sprayed or spread something attractive and smelly around the tiger enclosure, and the effect was a bit like those of catnip on little kitties.
On the way home, I caught this rather individual young woman on camera. Obviously she was trying not to attract too much attention.
Happy New Year, everyone!

I hope she was wearing that for a bet!!!
Happy New Year Val! And to all my fellow Vixens!
That was an excellent movie. I just loved watching Raika rolling around like a goofball. And I've seen that same toy stealing behavior (and expressions) on my doggies. Lumpur did NOT look happy as he watched from the other side of the enclosure. He looked quite fierce actually.
Happy New Year Val!! Looking forward to sharing 2011 with you and the rest of the gang!
Love you guys!
PS Love the way the girl was dressed. That was awesome. I would have chosen hot pink over chartreuse but to each his/her own! lol Fortunately she's young enough to get away with that look.
If you look at the guy beside her, he has a bag and jacket that advertise a mobile company with the same colors the girl is wearing. Maybe she is part of a promo appearance for the company? Happy New Year!
Darn it, Val! You saw me standing there and you could take a picture but couldn't be bothered to say hello!! haha.
Thanks for the zoo visits, Val. Really enjoy them. Happy New Year to you and all my V sisters! Love you guys!
I like her hair more than I like the boots :-)
Thank You for a year of zoo visits..looking forward to more and watching some of the babies growing up.
Happy New Year Val. wishing you a very happy 2011
I love the girl's outfit very festive.
Have you notice when you are in a crowded place you filter out the noise but only notice it when you play your video back.
Happy New Year, Val.
To Vincent's Vixens:
HAPPY NEW YEAR YA'LL
Happy New Year, dear Val!!
You have to be brave to wear lime green furry boots!
Happy New Year :)
Nantz, I'd been walking behind her for some time. (She was taller than me and walked much faster, so I had to wait till we both stopped at the road crossing before I could get a good picture.) The guy was nothing to do with her.
Wow, so she wore that on a whim? That's quite a display of personality!
I'd say it was pretty well-planned! What with the woolly dreads, and the attention to colour detail, I'm not convinced this isn't her everyday lok. I used to see a woman cover in shoe-whitener from head to toe, hair included. Underneath it all she was black.
Happy New Year everyone! I love your film, they're adorable. I always enjoy your zoo visits.
